About Stourbridge Photos

Stourbridge is a small town in the West Midlands region of the UK, famous for it's quality glassmaking industry and for being the town that built the Stourbridge Lion, the first locomotive ever to run in the USA. Situated on the edge of the famous industrial region known around the World as the Black Country, Stourbridge also borders beautiful countryside to the south and west of the town, making it a popular town in which to live. Good communication links make it very easy to get to the city of Birmingham and even London by train, while close proximity to the motorway network also makes the town a good place to live or set up a business. With a skilled workforce from a wide range of disciplines, together with a strong artistic community, Stourbridge is a proud and independent town.

This photo gallery has been organised by what we believe are the most popular features, buildings and streets in and around the town, but we may well add more in future, so it's very much work in progress. The site does not currently offer an automated purchasing process but it is small enough at present to be handled manually - simply send us an email stating the images you wish to buy and we will do the rest. For the time being we will use Paypal as the payment mechanism.

Stourbridge Photos is an offshoot of, the town website. Over the years we have ammassed a considerable number of photographs of the town and surrounding areas so it was logical to set up a site specifically for this purpose.

We hope you enjoy browsing and look forward to helping you with your digital needs.
